What kind of fish can I put in these tanks?
Ok, so cut wooden barrels, ranging in size, lined and planted, all connected by water flow form the pump and filter. Its going to be heater-less though I will break and buy heater if I absolutely must. The actually “tanks” will be 50, 40, 30, and 20 gallons. Where I live its between 80 degrees in summer, to 50 in winter. the lowest it goes maybe one or two weeks a year) is 40. The highest it goes is about 95. What fish would you suggest for these tanks? Different species for each barrel is fine, and mixing species is fine as well as long as they can stand each other and the temperature range, though the water here doesnt fluctuate as drastically. Also these tanks will be getting sunlight for at least 5 hours in the day, full direct sunlight. Thank you!
Also, if anyone can think of fish that would be suited for these tanks IF i had a heater please mention them, i really wanna cover all my options

You have 140 gal of water, with filtering, so it’s big enough for comets or shubunkins, or some fancy fantails in the smaller tubs.
The cold water in winter is going to rule out most Tropical Fish unless you fit a large (and expensive to run) heating system.
One thing to consider is that you will be viewing the fish from above. Many very pretty fish look quite grey and boring from above, or may stick to the lower levels and seldom be seen. Goldfish, being “golden” still look good in a pond, and once they learn they you are feeding them come to the surface when you approach. Makes them much better pond fish.
