how do i create humidity in an Aquarium for Exotic Pets?
i keep reading that humidity must be maintained in an aquarium occupied by an exotic animal (lizard, spider, etc.) question is, how do i do that exactly. i often read, spray water with a mist bottle into the aquarium, but to me that just sounds like moistening the substrate and getting the decorations wet. can someone help me with creating humidity? what am i doing wrong? i have a lid for the aquarium, but portions of it were removed because it was previously used for fish. i got aquarium from friend at work.
a heat lamp. I had 2 bearded dragons, and spraying them with mist is only for their enjoyment really, it helps keep them hydrated and cool. As well as happy:) But all you need is one good heat lamp. Place it facing downward on the lid of your tank. But ask the ‘help’ when you go to the store to pick it up, about how hot it should be kept and what not. hope this helps
