What are some exotic and small freshwater fish for my Aquarium?
I have a 30 gallon freshwater aquarium and I want a small exotic fish that will get along with a community type lifestyle, a fish with very low aggression. If you could please tell me the name and make sure it is cool looking.
In addition, if you could provide a link it would be great. It can give you a chance at the best answer. AN easy 10pts.
tiger barbs 100%- just buy them in groups of 5 or more and they will whiz around the tank with each other! Add green versions and albino barbs to create a colorful aquaruim. They live at 72-82 Farenheit and eat brine shrimp and fish food as a main staple in their diet.
they grow up to 3 inches
DO NOT
keep them with slow moving fish such as angelfish and bettas. that is asking for trouble as they will nip fins.
note: in groups of 6 or more they do not nip fins. unless fish above and some others. (ask your LFS)
gouramis are wonderful Tropical Fish that live in tropical temps.
the eat the same as tiger barbs and grow to four inches
they do not school and will not go well with the tiger barbs.
i would go for gouramis!
